Troubleshooting

If your delete kit has been installed, and an error still shows. Follow the steps below to make sure everything works.

  1. Make sure all connectors are plugged in and clicked, as well as making sure the wires are not pulled on or stretched in anyway. There should be as little stress on the wires as possible.

  2. If error persists, use an OBD reader to get codes

  3. Error Type 1: Dampening valve open circuit (or similar)
Swap the affected kit with the other side of car, and see if error follows the kit. If so, please contact us and we will send a replacement. If error does not follow kit, check harness on car to make sure it isn't damaged, and check the connections coming out of wire with car on to make sure it shows 12V.

  4. Error Type 2: Leveling sensor type codes
Check to make sure your ride height sensor, headlight level sensor is not damaged. These are usually bolted on to the control arms. You can check live data or measuring blocks on your obdeleven, VCDS, bimmercode, or any reader that allows you to check the ride height value while the car is on. Depending on the car model, there may be 3 or 4 sensors. Make sure all of them show a value relatively similar to the other 2 or 3. If no values are showing, it's likely that the sensor is broken. In some cases, shops with little experience forget to remove the ride height sensors during install of new shocks, and damage these sensors.

  5. Error Type 3: Implausible current, implausible voltage. implausible resistance etc. Please take a picture of the error and send us an email. In such cases it may be a control module issue, or a kit issue. We will troubleshoot with you live on a video call if necessary.

  6. Error Type 4: Works fine when starting up, but after some spirited driving, error pops up. In these cases, it has shown to be cars that are lowered beyond the limit of the ride height sensors. We suggest unbolting the ride height sensor link from the control arm, and taping it in a neutral position away from the moving parts of the car. This usually happens on cars with bags or stanced. Please contact us if you are unsure of what to do.

  7. All other issues, please contact us.
